Geneva F.L.A.P.S. Indoor Fly-In

To "Ring Out the Old Year" our neighbor RC Club to the East, the Geneva F.L.A.P.S. held it's Indoor Fly-In on Wednesday December 31st 2003. They contacted our Newsletter Staff and asked that we put out the word for this event to invite all those interested from the C.H.I.E.F.S. to participate. It was held at the Marcus Whitman High School Gym. Members of the RC Gypsies were also invited to attend. We had a good turnout for the event with a wide variety of electric powered as well as a few rubber powered models taking flight. There were the usual slight "mishaps" here and there but all appeared to enjoy a great afternoon of flying.

Geneva F.L.A.P.S. Outdoor "Hot Soup" RC Fun-Fly Fest

To "Ring In the New Year" the Geneva F.L.A.P.S. held it's Outdoor RC Fun Fly "Hot Soup" Fest on Thursday January 1st 2004. They had a good turnout for the event and the weather cooperated as well. Some members from the C.H.I.E.F.S. were also in attendance and everyone had good flying and good eating!
