2004 Candidates for Club Officers

It’s that time of year once again when we choose our candidates for Club Officers. We had a lite turnout at the Oct. meeting to place names for nomination. Here are the candidates that have been nominated thus far.

President: Jim Willing, Doc Blake
Vice President/Treasurer: Doug Severson
Secretary: Craig Brooks, Linda Howell, John Morrill

We will be holding the election at our November meeting, please make an effort to attend! Also please keep in mind that we have changed our meeting location to the Canandaigua American Legion on North Main St. as there have been schedule conflicts with our regular meeting site at the Canandaigua Ambulance Corps. The American Legion will be the site for our meetings from now on and the meetings will remain on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm. Also from the Oct. meeting we have some volunteers for

Annual RC Auction & Swap Meet

Our annual club RC Auction and Swap Meet is set for the 3rd Saturday in March 2004 at the Canandaigua Middle School. We will here more on the event after the first of the year.

Model Airplane Rubber Rally

The Model Airplane Rubber Rally is set for the 3rd Sunday in March at the Canandaigua High School Gym. We will be altering the structure of the event a bit to include Indoor RC Electric Aircraft as well. We will set time periods for each type, Rubber Powered and Electric to fly. This should be a great addition to the event and will provide the opportunity for a larger number of our fellow hobbyists to participate.
